Loan Specialist


Responsibility
  • Making large numbers of sales calls daily to contact leads as the first line of communication with borrowers
  • Work to develop new business and to retain existing business
  • Working hand-in-hand with clients to educate and explain all aspects of the loan process, different loan types and alternatives, all associated risks and benefits, and which loan types would best meet their needs.
  • Communicating regularly with clients to request and obtain documentation of all necessary financial and credit information, including income and asset information
  • Making regular contact with the customer to communicate progress of the loan process
  • Evaluate loan requests, analyze financial data, and examine borrower credit to determine pre-approval or denial of loan applications.
  • Regularly communicate and collaborate with other internal departments to ensure smooth and effective movement through the loan process

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree Preferred
  • Dedicated work ethic and diligence
  • High attention to detail
  • Exemplary customer service skills
  • Excellent written and verbal skills
  • Excel in fast paced, results-oriented environment
  • Must be able to multi-task, complete priorities, and meet tight deadlines
  • Must be able to build and maintain internal and external relationships to deliver high levels of service
  • Ability to understand financial products and guidelines
